Preciosa expanded its portfolio by two engineering plants in the early 1990s. The goal was, first of all, to secure our own capacities for machine production and development. At present, however, the main activity of machine shops is production for external customers.

The quality of production for our customers is our primary goal. Our quality policy motto is "Only the highest quality machines, materials and services".

A quality management system according to the ISO 9001 standard has been implemented in the machine shops. We successfully passed the certification in 2013. In October 2016, we obtained a new certificate according to the current revision of the ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016 standard.

Preciosa's engineering production was founded in the nineties. At that time, the company expanded its portfolio by two engineering plants in Liberec and Brodek u Konica. The aim was mainly to secure our own engineering capacities for the implementation of the outputs of the company's technical development.
